This ontology identifies a number of concepts and relationships to describe practices for filtering, sorting, and searching for documents based on their associated information. The context of the ontology is for enterprises which develop products that carry supporting documentation. Custom document browsing view types can be defined in the ontology and reasoning can be used to check for similarity across multiple view types to aid in the planning of document browsing.
